About Me
Hi, I'm Kyle Moxley. I'm currently an undergraduate at the University of Texas at Austin getting my BS in EEB biology. I'm interested in ecology, biodiversity, and climate change, but I'm obsessed with salamanders, particularly the incredible diversity of salamanders found in Appalachia. Right now I work in Dr. Melissa Kemp's lab doing some cool paleomorphology stuff with fossils from Hall's Cave...because sometimes in Texas the closest thing you can get to working with salamanders is working with their fossils :3.
Although I'm persuing a career in research, I always want science communication to be a part of what I do, which is why I set up this website as a place to build up an archive of my work and as motivation to write more. I always welcome feedback and conversation on my writing -- let me know what you liked, what I missed, or what I could do better! You can contact me through my Twitter or directly at blog@kmoxley.com.
